Les adaptateurs CA-CC externes de bureau sont également appelés adaptateurs CA ou convertisseurs AC-DC et sont un type d'alimentation externe. Qu'est-ce qu'une alimentation IEC 62368-1: 2018?
La IEC 62368-1: 2018 s'applique à la sécurité des équipements électriques et électroniques dans le domaine de l'audio, de la vidéo, des technologies de l'information et de la communication et des machines professionnelles et de bureau avec une tension nominale ne dépassant pas 600 V. Il s'agit d'une norme de sécurité des produits qui classifie les sources d'énergie, prescrit des garanties contre ces sources d'énergie et fournit des orientations sur l'application et les exigences de ces garanties. Les mesures de protection prescrites visent à réduire la probabilité de douleur, de blessure et, en cas d'incendie, de dommages matériels. Un convertisseur ou un bloc d'alimentation AC / DC classé IEC 62368-1 est un bloc d'alimentation qui a été testé et certifié conforme à ladite norme.

Les blocs d'alimentation IEC 62368-1 vont-ils remplacé les blocs d'alimentation IEC 60950-1?
Le 20 décembre 2020, les normes de sécurité qui se sont historiquement appliquées aux équipements informatiques et audio-vidéo, IEC 60065 et IEC 60950-1, vont passées à la IEC 62368-1. En Amérique du Nord, les certifications ETL et UL 60950-1 resteront valides et pourront être utilisées jusqu'à nouvel ordre.

Quelle est la différence entre une alimentation IEC 62368-1 et une alimentation IEC 60950-1?
Bien que la structure et le contenu des normes soient très différents en général, la plupart des produits qui étaient auparavant conformes à la norme IEC 60950-1 sont conformes à la dernière norme IEC 62368-1 avec peu ou pas de modification.

Les chiffres I à VI sont un protocole international de marquage d'efficacité qui permet aux fabricants de désigner les performances d'efficacité d'un produit. Ces performances sont basées sur la mesure de l'efficacité énergétique de fonctionnement et de la consommation électrique à vide des alimentations externes ou des adaptateurs CA - CC testés à différents niveaux de charge.
La consommation électrique à vide fait référence à la quantité d'énergie consommée par une alimentation externe même lorsque l'appareil alimenté est éteint ou déconnecté.

L'efficacité de niveau VI est-elle requise?
L'efficacité de niveau VI est obligatoire dans certains pays et régions pour certains produits ou certaines applications.

La directive sur l'éco-conception a promulgué en Europe les dernières exigences en matière d'efficacité et de conservation énergétiques pour les adaptateurs CA - CC et les alimentations externes.

Qu'est-ce que la réglementation européenne CoC Tier 2?
Le règlement européen CoC Tier 2 est un ensemble d'objectifs d'efficacité pour les alimentations électriques externes et les adaptateurs CA publié par l'unité Energies renouvelables du CCR (Centre Commun de Recherche) de la Commission européenne. Ces objectifs sont volontaires et ne sont prescrits par aucune loi.

Comment fonctionne un adaptateur AC-DC ?

L'adaptateur CA / CC ou alimentation externe se compose d'une alimentation qui est enfermée dans un boîtier similaire à une prise secteur, d'où le terme de "plug type", "wall plug in", "plug-in" ou "plugtop power adapter". L'alimentation est branchée sur la prise secteur et la tension alternative est ensuite convertie par l'alimentation en une tension continue qui est délivrée à l'appareil via le câble de sortie.
